Welcome To Carneys Point
The Jewel Of Salem County New Jersey

Carneys Point, all 17+ square miles of her, sits in the western portion of Salem County. Within the borders of this vibrant community major corporations such as DuPont and Atlantic City Electric have setup operations. The Community College of Salem County has its main campus, and the Delaware River and Bay Authority has built a business park. Carneys Point is well connected with the rest of Salem County and the world with access to interstate 295, the New Jersey Turnpike and rail, all within her borders. We sit less than 2 hours away by car to New York, Washington DC, and Baltimore. We are less than a 30 minute drive to Philadelphia PA. or Wilmington Delaware. At the heart of Carneys Point sits Dunn’s Park. With its picturesque fountain and flower lined walks and majestic trees, it is often used as a backdrop for weddings and other special occasions. At the Northern end of our town sits the Carneys Point Recreation Complex. This facility largely maintained by volunteers from the community has everything from softball and baseball fields to soccer fields. It also contains a fully handicap accessible play ground for children. In the fall the Recreation Committee sponsors a community campout that seems to grow every year.

Come visit us, see for yourself why we are so proud of our community.
